Phone Consultation

During this call, we’ll ask specific questions to understand your child’s developmental history, strengths, challenges, and goals. This allows us to get a clearer picture of how we can help. It’s also an opportunity for you to ask any questions and share your expectations for therapy. Our goal is to ensure you feel confident and informed every step of the way.

Assessment Authorization

After the consultation, we’ll guide you through the process of authorizing an initial skills assessment. This is an important step to gather comprehensive data about your child’s abilities and areas for improvement. Our team will handle all the logistics, including working with insurance providers if necessary, so you can focus on your child’s care. Once authorized, we’ll schedule the assessment at a convenient time for you.

Initial Assessment

This is where we take a deep dive into your child’s unique needs. A Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) will conduct a thorough skills assessment, observing your child’s strengths and areas for growth. This process also includes a family interview to ensure we understand your goals and concerns. The assessment helps us create an individualized therapy plan tailored to your child’s development.

Begin Therapy

Once the assessment is complete, therapy begins! Your child will participate in evidence-based interventions designed to target their specific goals, whether it’s improving communication, developing social skills, or building daily living skills. We’ll work collaboratively with you to ensure the therapy plan aligns with your child’s needs. Regular updates and feedback sessions will keep you informed about your child’s progress.

Ongoing Family Support

At Meraki Autism Center, we believe families play a critical role in their child’s success. Throughout the journey, we provide ongoing support through family meetings, training sessions, and open communication. Our BCBA team will equip you with practical strategies to reinforce therapy goals at home and in the community. Together, we’ll celebrate milestones and overcome challenges, ensuring a consistent and holistic approach to your child’s development.
